 My Story

My journey into the world of sex therapy began with a deep curiosity and passion for understanding human sexuality. In college, I had the opportunity to be a teaching assistant for a pleasure-focused sex education course, where I helped students better understand their sexual desires, learn how their bodies work, and navigate communication about sex safely and from a place of empowerment. This experience fueled my passion for open, informed discussions about sexuality.

Professionally, I immersed myself in the field of sex research, working as a lab manager for three years on projects focused on the stigma faced by those in the LGBTQ+, Kink/BDSM and consensually non-monogamous (CNM) communities. This research wasn't just academic—it was personal. As someone who is connected to these communities, I know firsthand the challenges of navigating a world that often misunderstands or marginalizes alternative sexualities and relationship structures. My work led to several publications aimed at helping clinicians provide better affirmative care to clients in these communities, making sure that therapy is not just a space for healing, but also one of understanding and acceptance.

Today, my practice is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a space where their needs are valid and their journey is respected. Whether you're exploring new aspects of your identity, working through past experiences, or simply seeking a deeper connection with yourself and others, I'm here to support you on your path to sexual empowerment and authentic intimacy.
